What is a P45
P45 is four forms issued by the employer of a company when a worker stops working in his company.
Generally, it is applicable in United Kingdom and republic of ireland.
The forms with Tittle "Details of employee leave work" contains annual tax data paid by the worker per year, and taken from salary he got.
The forms consist of 4 sheets. They are 1, 1a, 2, and 3. Where each sheet is held by different people. As described below ;
4 parts of P45 (tax)
1. Sheet "1" is given by the employer to HM Revenue and Customs which then note all detail of payment and tax in individual taxpayers record.
2. Sheet "1a" is saved for worker (employee)
3. Sheet "2" is for new employer if the worker get a new job.
4. Sheet "3" is taken by new employer to be sent to their tax office.
For Republic of Ireland may the form look like different.
