How to Grow Tomatoes from seeds at Home

Being all day at home, sometimes is felt boring if there is no work, plus if you relax in the yard but there is nothing interesting yo see and no plants that grow to be waited.

Rather than your time runs out in a tedious way, it would be nice to do new hobby such as Growing nice tomatoes. In addition, it will make your time felt better. You will also able to enjoy the result for daily consumption and as decoration of your yard and home.

About the planting land, it does not matter if your yard is so narrow or just terrace only. You still can use another place to grow it such us using pot.

However, to Grow Juicy Tomatoes, and in order thrive, healthy and fruiting , there are important points to be learnt ;

1. Choosing tomato seeds

• The first thing you do if you intend to grow giant tomatoes is to choose superior seeds. It can be gotten by buying at the nearest farm shop or getting the seeds directly from your own kitchen by taking the tomatoes that are completely red and perfectly cooked.
• Take the seeds and dry them by drying in the sun. Actually, without drying , direct sowing is not a problem.

2. Sowing seeds

The next step is to sow tomatoes seeds which have been prepared by using seedling media sold in the market or easily sowing directly through poly-bag or pot also not a problem.

• Prepare a medium size poly-bag/pot and fill with humus soil.

• Lubore the ground surface inside small pot with index finger as much as 2 -3 planting holes.

• Put the tomatoes seeds in the hole one by one, and cover the surface with soil again.

• Giving two to three planting holes is intended, so that later you can choose which seeds are worth planting among the three that grow.

• Watering the seedlings twice a day, morning and afternoon to keep the soil moist and facilitate the seeds to grow.

• After grow about 10 -15 cm from the first time planted, usually the small tomatoes trees are ready to be transferred and planted to the bigger pot media.

• Choose the best small tomatoes tree to move.

• Plants tomatoes trees in the big pot one per big pot.

3. Planting and growing tomatoes saplings

Now, you come to Growing stage, planting tomatoes saplings in the big pot. For planting media in form of pots do have many different types. There is a pot made of ceramics, glass, cement and clay.

I advise to use pots from clay because they have pore, bit it is not a necessity.

Fertilization can be done about 14 days after transferring to the big pot.

If solid fertilizer is used, you should give the distance between the fertilizer and the root, so that the roots are not decayed and dead.

5. Just wait until your tomatoes plant grow and bear green tomatoes , then change to be ripe.
